To Tempt the Wolf - Terry Spear

Hex in High Heels by Linda Wisdom
Books to Finish this Week:
Buckley’s Story, Lessons From a Feline Master Teacher by Ingrid King
I am also signed up to participate in ReBooWee, which is sponsored by Kerri at The-Writing-Bug This will be a weekly challenge to see who can Read-a-Book-a-Week, then share what they we read on her blog every Monday.
I think this will be interesting and challenging, especially with the holidays here and life more hectic than every.
What are you reading this week? What have you finished? Have you set any goals for what you want to read by the end of the week, the month?
Mason - It sounds as though you've got some interesting books that you're reading : ). I, too, juggle several books at once, actually. This week, though, I'm focusing on finishing Robin Cook's Intervention,. I honestly don't set reading goals for myself, although I think reading - a lot - is critical to good writing. I think it's because I like to savor books as I read.
ReplyDeleteGreat books!
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Margot Kinberg's novel, Publish or Perish (great book concept and I enjoyed it), and I'm about to start reading "While I Was Gone" for my book club.

Mystery Writing is Murder
I tend to swap back forth Margot. I will read only one book at a time and then again I'll have three or four started at once. I have a number of very good books to read right now and I wish I could read them all at once (I know it doesn't make sense). I try to read books in the order I get them, but sometimes I book just draws me earlier.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, I think reading with a book club would be interesting. I'll definitely have to add Margot's book to my BTR list.
ReBooWee does sound like a fun challenge but I know it isn't going to happen for me right now. This week I might read four books but the next couple of weeks I'll be lucky if I see my books.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your reading list.
Cassandrajade, thanks for stopping by. With the holidays and crazy schedules, I'm not sure how I'm going to do either. Thought I'd sign up anyway and give it a go. If something happens and I miss a few weeks, hopefully I'll be able to catch back up.
ReplyDeleteI just finished A Touch of Dead by Charlaine Harris and Shoes to Die For by Laura Levine...the last could be skipped, plot and ending poorly written. I'm currently reading Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati and hoping to start U for Undertow soon.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a number of Charlaine Harris' books, but I haven't read any of them yet, Ann. I've wondered how they were. The covers look interesting. Hope you enjoy Into the Wilderness.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Unexpected Miracles by Shawn Messonier, DVM, and a guilty pleasure, Ask Anyone by Sheryl Woods.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm laughing at myself after just reading your "how's your memory" post - I actually had to go to the living room to doublecheck the titles of both books! Sad, but true.
