This blog post will be a little different from my normal. I've signed up to participate in a weekly event telling what I'm reading.
It's Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by J. Kaye's Book Blog to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read, and the books to be finished this week.
Books I finished last week:
Dead Pan - Gayle Trent
Wild Hoofbeats: America’s Vanishing Wild Horses - Carol Walker
Easy and Healthy Ways to Prepare Fresh Vegetables - Arnold Weislo and Annabelle Delaval
Currently Reading:
Dirty Little Angels - Chris Tusa
Eggs Benedict Arnold - Laura Childs
Girl with Skirt of Stars - Jennifer Kitchen
Books to Finish this Week:
Dirty Little Angels - Chris Tusa
I hope this will help me read more. Hope you have a chance to check out the books I've already read. They were all good. I plan to have a review of Dead Pan up this week. The reviews on Wild Hoofbeats and Easy and Healthy were posted yesterday.
What are you reading this week while getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday?
I'm reading Margot Kinberg's "Publish or Perish"--a traditional mystery that I'm really enjoying.
ReplyDeleteGetting ready for Thanksgiving is a challenge, isn't it? Hopefully I'm getting all the things done that I need to!

Mystery Writing is Murder
I'm reading Traveling with Pomegranates: A Mother Daughter Story by Sue Monk Kidd and Ann Kidd Taylor, an introspective account of their travels together that examines where they were in life when they took their trips. Very good, so far.

Elizabeth and Lesa, both sound like very good reads. I love mysteries, but I do like a change from time to time. It still surprises me how quickly the holiday is getting here. A sign of getting older I guess. Best holiday wishes to both of you.
ReplyDeleteI just finished Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs, and much to my delight, discovered Knit The Season by the same author at the bookstore today. It's part of the Friday Night Knitting Club series, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm also reading Three Wise Cats by Harold Konstantelos and Terri Jenkins-Brady, and Unexpected Miracles by Shawn Messonier, DVM. And I have a big stack of magazines to catch up on. I'm looking forward to a nice long weekend of reading!
