Susan posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters including spaces and punctuation. You can click on Susan at Stony River Farm to get further instructions. Here's a link that will count your characters for you: Design 215.
Here's this week's photo. Below you will find my first attempt at a 140 character story.
See my kitty? He was the Big Bad Wolf in the woods who tried to scare me when I went to see my Granny. Bad wolf doesn’t scare anyone now. (139 characters)
Drop by Susan's and see her story, as well as others participating.
In addition, be sure to check out the new line-up of authors on the right-hand sidebar to see who is scheduled to guest blog here this month.
On another note, I'd like to say "THANKS" to everyone for the kinds words on yesterday's post. Much appreciated.
Have a great Monday and see you tomorrow.
Fun! I'll check it out...thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteHilarious, and very creative take on this Halloween-y picture!
ReplyDeleteAdorable story- quite in keeping with the picture prompt.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to give it a try, but am not sure I can do it in just 140 characters.
I don't know, I have met some cats that could make Big Bad Wolves seem pretty tame. You be careful that cat doesn't morph into Santy Claws between now and Christmas.
ReplyDeleteLove the caption.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Monday.
Cute story and picture! Hope you had a great Halloween. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute story. Isn't it funny how a 100 people can look at the same picture and results in a 100 different stories.

Love your mini-story. I'll try my luck later today. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteMason - What a great story! It captures what's happening in the picture really well :-). Good for you to give it a try, and you've got a nice twist in it.
ReplyDeleteLove these microfiction stories. Kitty here knows a good thing when she sees it, trading in her wolf get-up for a pampered life!
ReplyDeleteGreat story!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just read your post from yesterday, too. You have a fantastic blog and I love visiting.
omg, Mason! LOL--I LOVE your story! I'm just having all kinds of thoughts now... Is Red really a witch? Did she meet a good witch? That's so funny~ :o)
ReplyDeleteKitty, what big claws you have!
ReplyDeleteGood one, Mason.
What a cool idea and what a lovely story!
ReplyDeleteLove the story line!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute story! I don´t know what the wolf thinks, though :D
ReplyDeleteHi Mason! Cute micrfiction story.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Telling a story in 140 characters is not as easy as it looks. I really enjoyed your tale. Little Red Riding Hood rocks!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for stopping by. I've had to be away from blogging most of the day. Thanks for the kind words on the MicroMonday try. It was fun. I might try it again sometimes. I just loved the artwork.
ReplyDeleteCute take!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great story - totally matches the cutie's little grin! :)
ReplyDeleteACH! *Runs away screaming. I'm in WriMo, need I say more?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great concept! If I'm ever lost for post ideas, I'll use this one.
