Round-up Time

Do you have spring fever without the enjoyment of warm weather?

I do. I can’t wait for the temperatures to stay in the 50s and 60s during the day and above freezing at night. But even with the gloomy, cold weather the last couple of days have been hectic at home and at work. So that, along with a nice little migraine, has lead to today’s post being a round-up of congratulating winners of book giveaways, thanking several cool bloggers for awards, and letting you know what to expect here next week.

The first giveaway winners are for “Catch of a Lifetime” by Judi Fennell who guest blogged here on Feb. 24. Thanks to Judi and Danielle at Sourcebook for providing two books for the giveaway. Winners were selected from those commenting on Judi’s post. Congratulations to Jemi of Just Jemi and Joanne of Whole Latta Life. Please e-mail me with your full names and mailing addresses. Thanks for commenting.

The next winner is for a copy of “Coming of the Storm” by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O’Neal Gear who guest blogged here on Feb. 25. Congratulations to Margot of Confessions of a Mystery Novelist for winning.

Next the winner is for a copy of “Eternal on the Water” by Joseph Monniger. Congratulations to Corra of from the desk of a writer.

The last group of winners is for “Jordan” by Susan Kearney. Thanks to Anna and the Hachette Book Group there are five winners for this giveaway. Congratulations go to: Elaine G. of Crysler, Ontario; Tracey D. of Owings Mills, MD; Mary T. of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; Cheryl M. of Cochenour, Ontario; and Jung A. of Vancouver, BC.

Again, congratulations to all the winners and a special thanks to everyone for entering the giveaways and commenting on the posts.

Now a heartfelt thank you to several bloggers who recently passed blogging awards on to me. I appreciate these awards and will be passing them on to other blogs in the near future.

Helen at Straight From Hel presented me with the Sugar Doll Award on Feb. 28. Be sure to stop by Helen’s site, she has great information on publishing and will keep you up to date on the latest in the world of print.

Ann from All Write with Coffee presented me the Sunshine Award on March 2. I just recently found Ann’s site and thoroughly enjoy it. Be sure to stop by and see what’s she writing about today. It's always interesting and entertaining.

A.F. Heart from Mysteries and My Musings presented me the Lovely Blog Award on March 6. A.F. is hosting the monthly blog carnival for mysteries, as well as a number of other events. Her blog has been nominated in the Blogger's Choice Awards in two categories - best Entertainment Blog and best Hobby Blog. Stop by and vote.

Thank all three of you ladies. I appreciate the awards very much.

The line-up for the coming week will include the following authors guest blogging here:

James Hayman, author of “The Cutting” will be here Monday, March 8, as part of his blog tour. He will be talking about insomnia and writing.

L. Diane Wolfe from Spunk On A Stick will be here Tuesday, March 9. Diane will be kicking off her blog tour for her latest release “Circle of Friends, Book V…Heather.”

  3. Congrats to all the book giveaway winners, award recipients and YOU, Mason, for your awards! I love this blog. It's great to meet so many new authors, but it's also nice to have a direct post from you every once and a while. You do a great job here. And it looks like an exciting week ahead!

Today, my son has a bad cough (yesterday was his first soccer game! a bunch of 4yo's playing 4v4--so cute!) so we're going to stay in and take it easy. Get stuff done around the house? Play some games? Watch some movies? All of the above!
