Author Daryl Wood Gerber’s characters have a down-home appeal
that makes them realistic and likable. Her protagonist, Jenna Hart, is spunky
and lovable.
Gerber’s writing style quickly pulls you into the story and
holds you spellbound until the end. The author keeps you on your toes with a
few curves along the way just when you think you have things figured out.
GRILLING
THE SUBJECT flows smoothly and at a good pace. The setting is
inviting. New readers to the series aren’t left in the dark as this story can
be read on its own.
You don’t have to be a foodie to enjoy this book or series.
However, several delicious recipes are included at the end as an extra bonus
that could have your trying your hand at cooking after all.
Suspenseful and entertaining makes this a well-balanced story.
