About the
Author
Kelly
Bowen grew up in Manitoba, Canada. She attended the University of Manitoba
and earned a Master of Science degree in veterinary physiology and
endocrinology. But it was Kelly's infatuation with history and a weakness
for a good love story that led her down the path of historical
romance. When she is not writing, she seizes every opportunity to explore
ruins and battlefields.
Currently,
Kelly lives in Winnipeg with her husband and two boys, all of whom are
wonderfully patient with the writing process. Except, that is, when they
need a goalie for street hockey.

Thanks
for stopping by today. What is the main element you look for when you see a
book cover?
This is a nice prize package, Mason - thanks for sharing about it. As to book covers? For me, they have to be attention-getting, but not lurid. And they need to give a hint as to what's in the story.
ReplyDeleteWet Duke - he looks more vulnerable.
ReplyDeleteI look for something that conveys the story within. I don't want a picture of a dragon only to read the story and find there are no dragons at all. (And during my dragon kick as a teen, I did that once and was not happy.)
I like A. I don't know why...it just calls out to me more! Good luck to everyone who enters.
