Today’s post has a lot going on as I’m delighted to be participating in the book blast for author Lois Winston’s new cozy murder mystery, A STITCH TO DIE FOR; it’s Halloween here in the states; and it’s been 6 years since I stepped into blogdom.
As part of the Great Escape Virtual Book Blast for A STITCH TO DIE FOR, Lois is hosting an awesome tour-wide giveaway. Please see the end of the post for more details.

*Paperback, 240 pages
*Publisher: Lois Winston (July 7, 2015)
*ISBN: 13: 78-1940795300
Here’s a brief synopsis:
Ever since her husband died and left her in debt equal to the gross national product of Uzbekistan, magazine crafts editor and reluctant amateur sleuth Anastasia Pollack has stumbled across one dead body after another—but always in work-related settings.
When a killer targets the elderly nasty neighbor who lives across the street from her, murder strikes too close to home. Couple that with a series of unsettling events days before Halloween, and Anastasia begins to wonder if someone is sending her a deadly message.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ……
Today is a day filled with superstition and celebration for all ages throughout the U.S.
Halloween is one of those love/hate holidays that has been the topic of debates for many years. While some see it as a celebration of evil, others see it as a time just to dress up and have fun. Some see it as a celebration for children only, while others see it as a celebration of all ages. It seems more and more are decorating for Halloween each year. Here again, some do it with a scary theme, while others go more for happy ghosts and goblins.
Halloween has a long history and much is written about it. Each year I think businesses are realizing more and more the monetary aspect of the holiday with the sale of costumes (for youngsters and adults), decorations and especially candy.
However you celebrate or don’t celebrate Halloween, I hope you have a wonderful day.
SIX YEARS ….
It’s so hard for me to realize it’s been six years since I took my first step into blogdom and found all of you amazing people ….. my friends. Mere words cannot express the how much each of you mean to me and how much I appreciate all the support you have shown me throughout these years.
While I try to keep to a schedule, life has a way of changing things around sometimes. Through this, y’all have always been so understanding.
Currently I am visiting with my best friend in Texas. We haven’t had the opportunity to spend any time together in about 20 years. For this reason, my blogging will be a bit scattered over the next few weeks. Please bear with me if I don’t visit with you for a while. I will be back in full force before too long.
I can’t say THANK YOU enough for the wonderful response y’all have given Thoughts in Progress during these past years. Y’all encourage and inspire me in more ways than you will ever know.
