Krusteaz, Jewelry Keepsakes, PawStruck and Wine2Go
I’ve been remiss in saying a public thank you and shout out to several great bloggers and wonderful companies for items I’ve won recently. I’m always grateful (and delighted) to win a giveaway. Today I’d like to tell you about several amazing products I’ve been fortunate to receive.
Krusteaz
In our household, we’re always up for enjoying breakfast no matter what time of the day (or night) it is. This week I received a wonderful breakfast package from the lovely folks at Krusteaz, thanks to a Krusteaz Breakfast Night Giveaway hosted by Hayley at The Domestic Rebel. Hayley features some tasty recipes on her site that are easy to prepare and delicious. Be sure to stop by her site and check out some of her fun dishes.
The package from Krusteaz contained full size boxes of Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix, Belgian Waffle Mix, Buttermilk Pancake Mix, and Blueberry Pancake Mix. There was also coupons for free Krusteaz products.
I love pancakes and muffins, but I’ve never tried waffles at home. In fact, waffles in our house usually come out of the freezer and go into the toaster. But Hayley caught my attention with her Cinnamon Vanilla Waffle Dipping Stick recipe, now that I could go for. My next shopping trip will include a stop for a waffle stick pan so I can give this a try.
The items from Krusteaz are easy to prepare with light and fluffy results. Be sure to check out the Krusteaz website to discover all their tasty products. They also feature recipes, tips, techniques and loads of fun items.
Thanks to Hayley and Krusteaz for these delicious items in the Breakfast Night Giveaway.
Jewelry Keepsakes
If you visit here often, you know I’m a huge animal lover. My fur babies are like children to me and to lose one creates a hole in my heart that can never be filled. If you’ll glance at the left sidebar, you’ll see where we’ve lost three of our sweethearts in the past couple of years. There was also Sandy, our Lab, and Molly, a little stray my mother-in-law took in, that we lost in recent years. Not to mention prior dogs, cats and horses.
Caren at Cat Chat with Caren and Cody recently featured a beautiful post about Jewelry Keepsakes: Items That You Will Cherish For Eternity! With the post telling about the awesome jewelry and how it works, she hosted a giveaway and I was thrilled when I learned I was one of the two winners. With so many lovely pieces of jewelry, it was a difficult decision. In the end, I selected the Copper Buddy Heart from the Eternity Collection.
Be sure to stop by and visit with Caren and Cody as they feature a wide array of posts that not only entertain and delight, but also provide helpful information about living with cats (and dogs).
Here’s the product description from Caren’s post that helped me make my decision on which piece of jewelry I wanted: Our gorgeous copper plated Buddy Heart pet memorial jewelry can be a touching way to remember a special pet in your life that has passed. Each copper plated Buddy Heart pet cremation keepsake comes with a matching chain and a kit that will help you to fill and seal your beloved pets’ ashes safely inside the small chamber. Size: 3/4" w x 1" h.
If you’re wondering what Jewelry Keepsakes is, here’s a brief description from them: "Jewelry Keepsakes are a unique and innovative way to have a small remembrance of your loved one with you at all times. Our line of pendants, rings, and bracelets will hold a small tribute to your loved one inside of a beautiful piece of remembrance jewelry. Your precious remembrance can be a small amount of cremains, some dried flowers from a funeral arrangement, a lock of hair or even some sacred ground from the burial site. This kind of versatility allows you to commemorate the life of your loved one whether they are cremated or buried and to do so with a beautiful and sentimental Jewelry Keepsake."
All of the pets we’ve lost are buried in a small cemetery we’ve created in a corner of our upper pasture near a small branch. I decided to take a pinch of dirt from each of their graves, put it all in a bowl and then take a portion from that to fill the small chamber in the heart necklace. This way I honor the memory of them all each time I wear the necklace. Pets are a huge part of our lives. Remembering them in these ways when they are gone can bring us a bit of comfort.
Be sure to check out Jewelry Keepsakes’ website to learn more about this amazing jewelry and see the beautiful selections they have.
Thanks so much Caren and Jewelry Keepsakes for the amazing giveaway and for caring for pets as much as we do.
PawStruck
With 3 male, 20-month-old English Shepherds, we’re always on the lookout for tips and information to help us keep them healthy and happy. That’s how I discovered Kimberly at Keep the Tail Wagging and began to learn a lot of helpful information about various aspects of caring for liter mates (which ours are), as well as raising dogs naturally.
One of the many elements I enjoy about Kimberly’s post is her frank and honest opinions about products she tries with and for her dogs. One such product was The Benefits of PawStruck Bully Sticks for Dogs. She talked about how they helped the dogs and how well her dogs enjoyed them. As a bonus, she was hosting a giveaway for a Bully Stick Variety Pack, and I was delighted to be one of the two winners.
With our dogs, we’re always looking for something that is (1st) good for them, (2nd) something they will enjoy and (3rd) something that will last more than two seconds when they start chewing. The Bully Stick Variety Pack fit the bill for all of our requirements. They are happy dogs with their Bully Sticks and we are happy dog parents to be able to give them something that is good for them and they enjoy at the same time.
Be sure to check out PawStruck’s website for a vast array of goods for your pet. They carry a wide assortment of chews, as well as tips and tricks to help you with your dog.
Thanks so much Kimberly and PawStruck for the tasty treats Sundance, Jeremiah and Eli adored.
Wine2Go
We are not huge wine drinkers, but I do enjoy a glass of the tasty beverage from time to time and wish I knew more about wines and wine pairings.
One of the problems I disliked about wine is one Alaina at Fabtastic Eats also had – the glass bottles can cause problems when you take them on outings. Alaina has a fascinating blog (Fabtastic Eats: Fabulous and Fantastic Dishes, from my kitchen...to yours!) you should check out where she talks about her passion for cooking and baking, as well as features amazing recipes. While, she found a wonderful solution to the glass bottle problem – Wine2Go reusable, BPA free wine bottles and flasks that roll up when you’re not using them. She hosted a giveaway and I was one of 10 lucky winners.
These adorable flat wine bottles will hold an entire 750ml bottle of wine. You don’t have to worry about something breaking the bottle in the cooler, plus it takes up less space. In addition, with glass you have a problem disposing of the bottle when you’re finished with your wine. With the Wine2Go bottle, just roll it up and you’re ready to go. So handy, safe, durable and easy to use. Be sure to check out Wine2Go’s website to learn more about these awesome products.
Thanks so much Alaina and Wine2Go for the handy, reusable wine bottles.
A huge thanks to everyone for stopping by today. Sorry I haven’t been around much lately, but life helping care for a 93-year-old mother-in-law (who I’m afraid may not be with us much longer) and a 98-year-old father-in-law has been busy lately to say the least. Thanks again for stopping. I also want to say another heartfelt thank you to the bloggers and companies for providing these awesome gifts. I have a couple more fascinating gifts I’ve won, but I’ll tell you more about them when they arrive. I hope you each have a great Saturday, an awesome Sunday and a wonderful week to come.
