Don’t you just love good surprises?I do and I received a wonderful surprise earlier this month when I won an amazing Monroe and Main® giveaway from Shelley Zurek, blogger extraordinaire at Still Blonde After All These Years!
First let me tell you a bit about Shelley’s fascinating site. I enjoy going outside the book genre and visiting blogs that feature a vast array of information. Shelley’s site header drew me in the moment I saw it – “Fashion, hairstyles, giveaways, reviews and humor for the slightly vintage baby boomer woman, 45 years and old.” Now that I can relate to.

I was thrilled to have won the $125 Monroe and Main® Fall Confidence Accessory Bundle. The prize arrived within 3 days of winning it (can you believe that, only 3 days). The items were securely packed so that no item could be damaged.My prize included a Lulu’s Satchel Bag (in teal), color hoops (yellow), a Diamond Paisley Scarf and a Wide Band Cuff. All the items are amazing.
Here’s a brief description of the bag, “Elegantly curvy in a ‘just enough’ convenient size.” The bag has 2 outside pockets, 2 inside pockets and a center zip, along with a removable adjustable carrying strap. It’s just….WOW!
The photos of the scarf don’t do it justice. The details and texture are so vivid and rich and the teal color is lush. It measures 70 inches by 30 inches and feels incredible against the skin.
What can I say about the Wide Band Cuff and Color Hoops other than I love ‘em. The cuff is lightweight but not flimsy. The 2-inch hoops have a heavy safety guard on the post so they don’t come lose easy.A catalog was also include with the items. I feel like a kid looking through a toy catalog every time I browse through the pages featuring gorgeous clothes and accessories.
