Can you believe it’s already Christmas Eve? I know some places it’s already Christmas. Wow!
Where did the time go? It seems like it was only yesterday that it was spring. Then I blinked and summer was a memory and here we are celebrating the holidays. For as long as I can remember I’ve heard that time flies when you get older. Boy is that ever true!
Today for many will be filled with a lot of last minute shopping, spending time with family and friends, enjoying tasty dishes, and the opening of presents. Whatever your day holds – maybe just some quiet time by yourself – I hope it’s a safe and joyous time.
I am thankful every day for the wonderful friendship and fellowship I’ve found through this blog. I can’t express how much I’ve learned and grown from knowing each of you. Thank you!
Happy Holidays!
I’m off today to spend time with family so I’m afraid I won’t make it by your sites to wish you a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. But please know I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart. For those celebrating Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, I send wishes of good well, love, and peace. For my Canadian friends, I wish you a joyous Boxing Day on Monday.
I plan to be offline (but still checking emails) until Jan. 2nd or 3rd even though I may have a few posts going up between now and then. I hope y’all will return in the New Year to celebrate new books, fun authors, and life in general with me here at Thoughts in Progress.
A sleeping Traveler waiting on Santa
I want to leave you now with a video I found on YouTube featuring some beautiful Christmas music. I know there's Christmas music at the top of the blog but this video features three hours of some of what I consider classic Christmas music. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. If you click on the YouTube logo and go to that link and then click on 'show more' it will list the songs and singers. I also found a video that features 12 hours of Christmas music. Here’s the link to that one in case you’d like to listen to something else. In addition, I’m sharing a photo of my cat, Traveler, who was sleeping soundly this week reminding me of Clement Clarke Moore’s The Night Before Christmas story.
Wishing you joy, love, peace, prosperity, happiness, and friendship.
Just a quick note to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!! I hope you are having a safe and joyous holiday this week my friends. If you don't or aren't celebrating the holiday, I hope you're having a wonderful time just the same. I so appreciate everyone for stopping by. This has been a busy season (as I'm sure it has been for you too) and I'll be back visiting and more online after the first of the year. Today as we celebrate, I wish for you and your family a wonderful time filled with good health, prosperity, happiness and peace with yourself. Have a blessed day and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Can you believe it? It’s Christmas Eve. My, oh my, where did the time go to? Just yesterday it was July or was that June? Well, either way it’s here if we’re ready for it or not (which I’m not). I just wanted to take today to wish each and everyone of you (and your families) a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.
If you’re not celebrating Christmas, I wish you a wonderful day instead.
In case I don’t get a chance to get by your blogs to tell you in person (so to speak), please know that y’all are very important to me and I hope you find everything you wish for under under your tree.
I’ll leave you now with a video of some of my favorite Christmas songs. Sorry I couldn’t get the music widget to work this year for Christmas music.
If I don’t see you tomorrow, I hope to be back on Thursday. Until then, y’all are the BEST!!
May your holiday be filled with joy and happiness, good health and success, peace and comfort, delicious food and drink, and especially family and friends.
For those who don’t celebrate Christmas, I wish joyous days, much happiness, and fun with family and friends for you.
I’d also like to say thank you to everyone for visiting here throughout the past year. I do so appreciate it. I haven’t been able to visit with you as much as I’d like, but I hope I can start visiting again soon.
May you find lots and lots of wonderful new books under your Christmas tree, in your stockings hung by the fireplace, and uploaded to your eReaders.
(P.S. Sorry about the Christmas music widget not working. I’m searching for a new program to add the music back. Hopefully I’ll find something soon. If you know of a program that will work on the sidebar, please let me know.)
It's here, Christmas 2010 and I'm still wondering where the month has gone to. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday and enjoying time with family and friends. For those not celebrating Christmas, I hope you're having a wonderful time with family and friends anyway.
My plan is to get a little time today to visit around blogdom. I've missed visiting with everyone. The weathermen say we have a chance of some snow or at least some some flurries today. If so, it will make for a good day to catch up with everyone and enjoy a little reading.
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments yesterday. It was a long, busy day but a lot of fun too. Now I'll close by wishing everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
