As Laurie Cass continues the national bestselling Bookmobile Cat mystery series, librarian Minnie Hamilton is happy to take her bookmobile for a spin with her rescue cat, Eddie—but her tenacious tabby always seems to find trouble...

As the bookmobile rolls along the hills of Chilson, Michigan, Minnie and Eddie spread good cheer and good reads. But when her faithful feline finds his way into the middle of a murder, Minnie is there, like any good librarian, to check it out.
Eddie turns a routine bookmobile stop into anything but when he makes a quick escape and hops into a pickup truck…with a dead body in the flatbed. The friendly local lawyer who was driving the pickup falls under suspicion. But Minnie and Eddie think there's more to this case than meets the eye, and the dynamic duo sets out to leave no page unturned.

What is not to love and enjoy when there’s books, a mystery, and an adorable cat blended with endearing characters to entertain you?

Author Laurie Cass has created a splendid mixture of these things in her latest release, WRONG SIDE OF THE PAW, the sixth installment in her Bookmobile Cat Mystery series. This delightful book can be read on its own but readers will benefit from reading the previous installments and following the protagonist’s growth through the series.

The author has created the perfect setting with a bookmobile which will relate especially well with older readers who may recall their own experiences visiting such a fun place. The author’s eye for detail will place you amid the adventure.

The story moves at a great pace and holds your attention from beginning to end. The twist and turns will keep you on your toes as you match your sleuthing skills with those of Eddie. In addition, the protagonist is faced with a number of challenges that readers can relate to.

WRONG SIDE OF THE PAW is a pleasant read that will have you smiling and cheering for the protagonist. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly have a desire to visit a bookmobile.

  1. Books and cats? What's not to love. Though they are not always a wonderful mix. One at least of our cats resented me reading a book when I should have been tending to his whims of iron.

Many years ago in grade school we had a bookmobile come to our school every Wednesday our class would go see it, I loved it then they stop it the next year as they got a small libarary which was not as good as the bookmobile. I'ld love one around here we have 1 libarary about 2 miles from us I don't drive so I walk it. I have to say yes I would work in one. Penney
