I’m delighted to be participating in the FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS Book Blast.
As part of the blast I’m sharing my thoughts on the fun book and there are two tour-wide giveaways you can enter.
First, here’s a brief blurb of FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS: 13 Tales of Holiday Horrors:
It's the most wonderful time of year...or is it? Christmas Eve is a night of mystery and magic, but not always in ways we expect. Things lurk in the shadows and they're not the least bit jolly or merry. Let's just say some presents are better left unopened. ‘
Tis the season to be screaming along with our thirteen tales of holiday horrors. Ghosts. Monsters. Demons. And more! This Christmas, be careful what you wish for... Goodreads ~ Amazon ~ Barnes and Noble ~ iBooks ~ Leap Books Pre-Order sale price of just $1.99 through November 29th.
Author Bio – Patrick Hueller: Patrick Hueller is the author of several scary YA and middle grade books, including Wolf High, The Wish, and (under the pen name Paul Hoblin) Foul.
Here are my thoughts ….
FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS: 13 Tales of Holiday Horrors
FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS: 13 Tales of Holiday Horrors will have you smiling just before you lose your breath when a twist throws you off ground.
Each author has masterfully penned a tale relating to the Christmas holiday, but with a naughty twist. These tantalizing tales include such stories as: Machette Santa by Medeia Sharif, North Pole Coal by Patrick Hueller, Frosted by Ally Mathews, and The Tell-Tale Scarf by Judith Graves to name a few. The stories will have you rethinking how you relate to holiday activities.
Geared toward middle grade readers, this anthology will entertain and delight readers of all ages. FRIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS will become a family favorite read for the holidays. These stories will draw you in and hold you captive until the very end.

My favourite part of Christmas is Boxing Day. All the fuss is over, and (with luck) I have a new book to read, and can point hungry people at the fridge. I know, it is a sad attitude. Christmas can yank on so many heart strings... I will volunteer on a crisis line on the day itself, and be very, very thankful for my many blessing by the time I get home.
ReplyDeleteI love it all! Talking on the phone to family scattered across the country, all the lights, snow, special foods and a good book to curl up with.
ReplyDeleteI like decorating the house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the holiday season is going out and looking at Christmas light decorations with my family!
ReplyDeleteI know some of the authors in that book!
ReplyDeleteDon't think I have a favorite horror story around Christmas. Unless it was the year my sister-in-law set the stove on fire.
Thanks for sharing this, Mason. I'm always a fan of any author who can entice young people to read. And these stories sound like a good way to do exactly that.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing is time spent with family, especially if we are fortunate to visit family out of town or have them at our house.
