Author Victoria Laurie starts off with a tense scene and keeps
you on a roller coaster ride until the very end with moments of laughter thrown
in along the way.
Laurie’s characters are well-developed and likable. The mix of
suspense, psychic abilities, a touch of romance, and humor all play well
together. The love and care between protagonist Abby Cooper and her dachshund
Tuttle shows a tenderness element to the story giving it depth.
Through vivid descriptions and an eye for detail, the author
places you in the middle of the action as the story unfolds. There are twists
and turns to keep you guessing as the suspense holds you spellbound.
New readers to the series won’t be left out in the dark if
they began with SENSE OF DECEPTION. This story can be read on its own.
Mesmerizing and captivating, this story will take you on an
