Pacific Rim Blu-ray Giveaway

When it comes to science fiction, it may be strange but I’m more of a sci-fi viewer than reader. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy reading sci-fi thrillers. I just enjoy watching the movies or TV shows more. Not sure why.

coverWith that in mind, I’m delighted today to be able to host a PartnersHub Family giveaway for a sci-fi adventure on Blu-ray that hits the stores this week. For the giveaway details, please see the end of the post.

About Pacific Rim …

     Go BIG or go EXTINCT!

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, PACIFIC RIM is an epic science fiction film set in the 2020s. Earth is at war with Kaijus; colossal monsters from an inter-dimensional gateway on the Pacific Ocean floor. Humanity unites to fight these huge monsters by creating the Jaegers: gigantic humanoid robots that are controlled by two pilots whose minds and memories are linked.

The story takes place in the later days of the war, following Raleigh Becket, a former Jaeger pilot called out of retirement and paired up with newbie pilot Mako Mori in a final effort to defeat the Kaijus!

PACIFIC RIM is slated to be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, Oct. 15. You can have fun now with the Pacific Rim Blog App.

  1. Now that's an awesome giveaway! I won't be able to wait though, so I'll be buying my copy on Tuesday.

    1. Alex, I thought about you when I was reading this information. I thought this might be something you'd be anxious to have a copy of. Have fun viewing.

  2. Mason - This is a generous giveaway. I'm not myself a sci-fi fan, but I agree completely that stories like this are so powerful on film/television. Thanks for sharing with us.

  3. I also think sci-fi is better on the big screen (or DVD). I think it is hard to visualize the drama from the printed page, and the impact is greater in a movie.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Enjoy your week.

  4. Great giveaway, Mason. I'm a fan of Idris and Charlie, so I'm looking forward to seeing "Pacific Rim."

  5. This would be something my guys would probably watch. Thanks for offering this giveaway.

  7. Fabulous giveaway, Mason! I'd much rather watch than read Sci-Fi. This movie looks great!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on today's post. Thanks for dropping by.
