26 Authors And A Thrilling Mystery

A spine-tingling mystery told by the collected voices of 26 authors sounds like an unlikely tale.

NO REST FOR THE DEAD, however, is a spellbinding novel of murder and intrigue composed by the collaboration of 26 bestselling authors. Each brings their own unique style to the story but it flows smoothly as one incredible voice. Each chapter is written by a different author as the story builds to its shocking conclusion.

Author David Baldacci sets the tone for this thriller with his introduction. From there the authors take the reader on a breath-taking ride of tension and suspense.

The authors include Jeffery Deaver, Tess Gerristsen, Kathy Reich, Faye Kellerman, J.A. Jance, Sandra Brown, Alexander McCall Smith, Lisa Scottoline, and Michael Palmer to name a few.

A cop following the evidence helps convict a woman of murdering her husband. As Rosemary Thomas is put to death, Detective Jon Nunn believes she is innocent of the crime.

The decaying body of Rosemary’s husband, Christopher, had been found inside an iron maiden in a German museum. Rosemary became the prime suspect despite the fact that her husband, the ruthless curator of San Francisco’s McFall Art Museum, had been rumored to be involved in drugs and forgery as well as being a womanizer.

On the 10th anniversary of Rosemary’s execution, Jon plans to uncover the truth. With the help of one of Rosemary’s friends, all those connected the night Christopher died are invited to Rosemary’s memorial.

With a long guest list, bit by bit new information is uncovered and new light is shown on those closest to Rosemary. The truth surrounding Christopher’s death is revealed as the motive is uncovered.

This novel was put together by the brother-and-sister editing team of Andrew and Lamia Gulli. They have arranged to donate all proceeds from this book (exclusing contributor expenses) to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

NO REST FOR THE DEAD is a fast-pace read that will keep you guessing. Once you start reading, you won’t be able to put it down until you know the whole truth and discover what really happened.

  3. Mason - Thanks for sharing this. It's very interesting to see what happens when a group of authors tries its hand at collaborating on a single story. And the fact that it's in support of a good cause is very good to know.

  5. I have also seen this one here and there. I doubt it will be to my taste, though. As one of my blog friends said, they´ll probably all want to add lots of drama rather than writing the boring bits ;)
