Wildflower Wedding by LuAnn McLane

Wildflower Wedding coverSometimes you just need a light-hearted, feel-good story to lift your spirits. Author LuAnn McLane’s latest release, WILDFLOWER WEDDING, is a well-blended romance that will brighten your mood in no time.

Gabby Goodwin has a successful flower ship in Cricket Creek, KY, and making it fine on her own. However, she feels like she still has a lot to prove since she grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. When Reese Marino, who also grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, shows back up in town, Gabby has a hard time remembering she was hoping the cute mayor would ask her out.

Having a ‘bad boy’ rep in high school, Reese had a lot to overcome. Back in town to operate a new pizza parlor with his uncle, Reese is determined to prove to Gabby he’s changed.

The back and forth tug these two characters feel makes for an entertaining and whimsical read. The author has given the characters worries and doubt readers can relate to. She has blended the problems with bits of humor and steamy romance for a well-balanced story.

The setting is a small town with its quirky residents and family-feel atmosphere. The author’s rich descriptions brings the town and its people to life.

With a couple of sub-plots mingled in, WILDFLOWER WEDDING is a charming story that will inspire you to dream. The sixth installment in the Cricket Creek series, this book can be read on its own.

WILDFLOWER WEDDING is a delightful read that will bring a smile to your face.

  4. I like the name "Cricket Creek"-sounds like such an idyllic place. That cover artwork is worthy of being framed and hung on a wall.
