Books To Enjoy And Give

The books I have to share with you today are from completely different genres, but have a couple of things in common. Both books are enjoyable and would make wonderful Christmas gifts.

First I’ll share a bit of suspense/romance/fantasy and then a look at some amazing items to create.

Dreaming Of The Wolf by Terry Spear
dreamingofwolf-300

Author Terry Spear has a way of making the unbelievable believable creating realistic characters that seem as normal as your next door neighbors, but with a tiny hidden secret.

Alicia Greiston is a bright and beautiful woman. She also happens to be a bounty hunter on the trail of the mobsters who killed her mother. She’s a bit more than she appears to be as well.

Jake Silver is handsome and sexy, and enjoys taking amazing photographs in his spare time. Managing a leather goods factory and running the town and pack as his older brother’s sub-leader is Jake’s main job. You see, Jake is a werewolf.

A chance meeting in town draws Jake and Alicia together. When he sees what she’s up against, Jake is determined to protect her. With their first encounter, sparks begin to fly. Their attraction is hot and intense, even in their dreams.

DREAMING OF THE WOLF is filled with murder, mystery, suspense, family loyalty, humor and lots of passion. Spear not only creates main characters that hold your attention, but supporting secondary characters that enhance the story. The action is fast-pace. The intrigue will keep you on the edge of your seat and the romance sizzles.

While DREAMING OF THE WOLF is the 8th installment in the Heart of the Wolf Series, it is a stand alone read. However, there are a number of characters fans of the series will remember from previous stories. At the same time readers will wonder which of the secondary characters may show up in their own story later.

With a blend of vast wolf knowledge, an intriguing plotline, and great characters, Spear brings the story to life making it seem natural to be a shape-shifting werewolf.

For readers who shy away from paranormal stories, I would recommend giving one of Spear’s werewolf books a try. There is always great depth to the characters, intriguing story lines, action, mystery, suspense and romance along with the fantasy that she makes seem plausible.

  1. Mason - I just love this variety! The knitting book reminds me of how much I used to like to crochet (I know, they are different skills...). How interesting! Thanks for sharing these.
