  1. Mason - Thanks for this review. Coincidentally, I've just finished reading two historical mysteries, The Redemption of Alexander Seaton and its sequel, A Game of Sorrows, both by Shona MacLean. The first takes place in 17th Century Scotland; the second in 17th Century Scotland and Ireland. It's funny how we've both been reading novels about the same part of the world : ).

  2. Thanks so much, Mason, for the terrific review! I've been asked to do an interview for the university where I received my MBA, and this morning a request from a student who is doing a thesis on shapeshifters. So I'm always shifting gears between the loves of my life--the Scottish equation (having lots of Scottish roots of my own) and werewolves (no known werewolf roots though). And the fun of it is working on Taming the Highland Wolf, I get to be with both at the same time!

Thanks again, Mason. I loved your review! And I loved writing The Accidental Highland Hero!

  5. This is definitely a resounding "buy it"! What is it with redheads with green eyes? I swear I may dye my hair and wear emerald contacts.

Thanks for the introduction to the book and to Terry Spear.

I got another book from you and can't wait to read it--I think I'm going to ask hubby to read it to me--he reads to me every night and I think he might like it!

  8. Thanks, Elizabeth!! I love the Highland stories, real and fictional!

I love your name, Diane. Wolfe, a name like that catches my attention every time! :) It is a beautiful cover, isn't it? I loved the action in it, not just the hunky Highlander. :) And the castle. Do you see the beautiful mysterious looking castle? Just wonderful.

LOL, Helen, in this case, redheads have more fun! :) According to statistics, Scotland has the highest number of redheads in Europe, with around 13% being redheads and 40% carrying the redhead recessive gene! Ireland comes in a close 2nd with about 10% redheads! :) My daughter is a redhead with green eyes. Alas, I just have the green eyes. LOL

Thanks, Armenia! Hope you love the story! :) I love an adventure and mystery, and throw in the beloved romance, and it has it all!

Mary, thanks! The MacNeill I descended from was actually a commoner who ran off with the Duke of Argyll's daughter. Love won out. :) So I pay homage to the MacNeills in a small way, giving them daring damsels to love. :)
